Hello from the past, dear readers!

I’m on vacation this week, which means Erin and Emily are womanning the decks for any breaking news. I wrote an intro ahead of time so they’d have one less thing to worry about. But how can you anticipate what to say in this rapid higher ed news world? Is there a new executive order? Has it already been struck down by a court? Maybe struck down and brought back?? 

(Before I could even finish writing a draft of this, the Trump administration announced it was restoring students’ visas. More updates on that further down.)

Erin wrote the rest of this newsletter in the present, where any promotional interviews we participate in will focus solely on the contents of The Quad.
